People in a small town near Madison are in shock today, following a bar fire that killed four people.
The building went up in flames just after 3 this morning in Blanchardville, southwest of the State Capitol.
Two of the victims owned the building and two were staying in the apartments above the bar.
The mother of one of the victims couldn't believe it when she got the call that her son had died.
"My mother called me saying that Brian perished in the fire and i got a message from my son saying to call him immediately so then i called and was told Brian had died in the fire," says Margaret Lehr, victim's mother.
There's no word on what caused the fire.
An investigation is underway.
