We all have that one person on our list who's impossible to shop for, but a local store is making sure you won't have to worry about your pets.
Katzenbarkers, located on 2nd Avenue in Wausau, has a variety of gift items to put Fido in a festive mood. The store sells holiday ornaments, stockings, and even Christmas cookies for your pets.
The owner says giving a gift to your pet not only shows it your love, but it can also relieve a little of your stress as well.
"When there's a lot of activity in the house and people are opening gifts, its a good idea to have something to give to your pets to keep them happy and distracted instead of maybe getting into things they shouldn't be getting into," said owner Lois Bearjar.
Traditional things like toys and treats make great gifts for you pets, but if you're looking for something a little more personal, the store offers a wide variety of jackets and collars to let your pooch show of their style.
When the holidays are over and you start making your resolutions to get back into shape, remember to bring your pets with so they can work off their holiday weight as well.
Katzensbarkers is open Monday through Friday from 10 am until 6 pm, and Saturday from 10 to 4.
