Have you ever wondered how your favorite beer and soda are made? Well now you can find out at a new local store dedicated to teach you just that.
The Bull Falls Home Brew Depot held its grand opening Saturday. The Depot sells everything you need to make your own beer, wine, and soda.
Home brewing is quickly becoming a favorite past-time for many families because of the satisfaction people get out of making beer, and with just a few ingredients and tools, anyone can create a beer that's all their own.
The store sells starter kits, which give you the basic supplies needed to start brewing your favorite drink, as well as the freshest ingredients to perfect its taste.
Employees say they even have single bottle brewing kits which make perfect stocking stuffers for the pickiest people on your list.
"These kits with various complexities and sizes are ideal gifts for Christmas shopping. In fact our Bull Falls Brewery got started as a result of a home brewer getting a brew kit for Christmas," said co-owner Don Zamzow.
For the past two years the Bull Falls Brewery has been providing craft beer to the area, and now their new store will help you how do the same. Many of the staff from the brewery are also working at the Brew Depot, giving you the expert advice you need to get started.
The Home Brew Depot is located on the corner of Prospect and Thomas in Wausau, and is open from 10am to 6 pm, Tuesday through Saturday and Noon to 4pm on Sunday.
