Catholic bishops say emergency contraception should only be provided for sexual assault survivors, but some young Catholics disagree.

Two representatives from Catholics For Choice are touring Wisconsin to open a dialogue about emergency contraception.

New ads will air on radio and television with the young Catholics' message.

"We've been touring yesterday and today throughout Wisconsin where these ads are going to be aired to answer any questions and to start that dialogue with Wisconsin catholics," says Jessie Nieblas, with Young Catholics For Choice.

She expects some conservative Catholics to react negatively to the ads, but says overall Catholics are reacting positively.

According to Catholics For Choice, 97 percent of Catholic women have used some form of contraception that is not approved by the Vatican.

You CANNOT be pro-choice and Catholic! Young women are being lied to & men are not being held accountable. Both women and men need to take more personal responsibility for their fertility and its power to create new life. Intimate relations are not a recreational sport! NFP, when learned well and with the husband's participation, is as effective as ABC pills and does not mess up a female's body as do hormones and chemicals. Catholics for Choice (both old and young)need to go back into catechesis to learn about their faith properly.

Clearly my brothers and sisters don't understand the reasons behind the law. If you don't like the rules there are plenty of other churches that will conform to your personal needs. The first goal of marriage is children. Don't want children? Don't get married. Would you say to God "I don't want these children" that you have been given? Can you imagine your life without them? Our faith states to put trust in the Lord - Lilies of the field and such. He will not give you what you cannot handle.

I think that it is time the Vatican allow some form of contraception. It is no longer practical nor feasible for people to have the large families that they did years ago. In today's world when food and clothing is going up at alarming rates and it requires two incomes to pay the mortgage and monthly bills, having ten or more children no longer is an option. I myself have tried natural family planning. I have ended up being pregnant three out of the five years I have been married. We are now considering contraception.
