An explosion at Erickson's Welding in Wittenberg injured two men and now, one of them has died from those injuries.
Mitchell Kreger, 27, of Hatley had brought his automotive gas tank to Erickson's for some work. The tank exploded when the welding started and set fire to a work shed and semi trailer.
The explosion injured the welder, Robert Erickson and Kreger. Both were treated for burns. Kreger was transported to a hospital in Milwaukee.
He died there this week.
