Wisconsin Public Service reported 3,300 homes without power Wednesday evening in Tomahawk after early evening storms rustled through the area. Crews were working throughout the night to get the lights back on.

The owner of the Best Western Hotel outside of Tomahawk says he witnessed the storm first-hand.

"You couldn't see two feet out the window, it just blew in, I couldn't believe it, I never seen anything like it," said Jim Fieri, owner.

A large pine tree was just inches away from falling into the roof of one of the hotel's private cabins. The entire area surrounding the hotel on County Road L was without power.
