Three buildings are now destroyed after a massive yet hazardous fire in Marathon County Tuesday night.
The blaze broke out in one of the metal buildings located just off Highway E in the Town of McMillan.
"They say they could see flames from Stratford," said Thomas Weigel, the shop owner.
Weigel had several semi trucks and years of projects stored in the buildings. Firefighters were most concerned about the propane and liquid petroleum stored in and around the buildings.
"One L.P. tank heated improperly can take out everything within a quarter mile," said McMillan Fire Chief John Bujalski.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
