The Waupaca County Sheriff's Department has made an arrest in connection to burglaries throughout the Waupaca area.
According to a press release, police arrested the 30-year-old male from the Waupaca area, after a routine traffic stop on Monday, November 16th, after officers noticed suspicious items in the vehicle.
That's following the report of a burglary at the Hidden Waters Golf Course.
The 30-year-old's name is not being released at this time until he is formally charged.
And now this is leading authorities to investigate several more burglaries.
Authorities says there's also another 15 burglaries that will be investigated as a result of this case, with some of them dating back to over a year ago.
Investigators have recovered a number of items from a residence including hand and power tools, as well as camping and sporting goods that were stolen.
They are also trying to match unidentified property with their rightful owners.
