Crews from four area departments are on the scene of a garage fire east of Wausau.

Ringle, Easton, Weston and Hatley firefighters were called to the scene on Lodholz Rd. east of Wausau at about 8am Friday.

Our crew at the scene says the garage is a total loss, but authorities say a southwest wind helped keep the flames from spreading to the house.

The siding on the side of the house was melted.

No one was hurt in the fire.

There's no word on a cause.
