Investigators captured the chief suspect in the Deanna Scantlin disappearance and murder in Northeastern North Dakota early Wednesday morning.

Robinson appeared in court Thursday afternoon and waived his extradition hearing. That means he'll come back to Marathon County to face theft, kidnapping and homicide charges.

Robinson is charged with kidnapping 33-year-old Deanna Scantlin. She was last scene July 14 working at a tavern in Norrie. Police believe Robinson murdered her and got rid of her body.

He is also suspected of trying to run a woman off the road in Washburn County and trying to pull her out of her car.

Luckily another driver scared him off. Police found Robinson's car in Duluth, MN.

Officers say he took a bus to Pembina, North Dakota and was at a hotel just 10 miles from the Canada border. He turned himself in when the police called his motel room.

Robinson should be back in Marathon County Thursday night.
