The Wausau mayoral candidates followed the judicial candidates with a debate of their own.
It was the last debate in which the two candidates will go head-to-head against before the April 6 election.
Jim Tipple has been running on the premise of improving city services by merging them with neighboring communities.
Incumbent Linda Lawrence wants to pay for city services and other programs by raising the property tax base in Wausau with the addition of new businesses.
