1 Dead, 2 Injured In Waushara County Crash

One person is dead and two are injured following a two car crash in Waushara County Thursday morning.

According to a press release, the accident happened at the intersection of 15th Road and Apache Drive in the Town of Rose just west of Wild Rose.

Authorities says the driver of the car, 17-year-old Colton J. Meyers of Wild Rose was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck, 46-year-old Gilbert Eger from Wautoma, and the passenger of the car, 17-year-old Jordan M. Lysaght were injured in the crash.

Authorities say the initial cause of the accident is that the car failed to stop at a stop sign, hitting the truck.

The crash remains under investigation.
