Some soldiers in Portage County have been called into active duty for Operation Bootstrap.
No, these soldiers are not being sent overseas. In fact, they're not really even soldiers, but they are leading a battle against poverty.
They've gathered 3,000 diapers and 1,500 rolls of toilet paper for less fortunate families.
It's all part of the Noel Group's annual effort to help local charities around the Easter holiday.
"What we've done for the past couple of weeks is ask each building in our company to construct a diaper/toilet paper castle to see how creative they could be and see how much they could collect," said Amy Obremski, Noel Group.
The Noel Group usually donates food, but chose diapers this year to meet the needs of area families.
