RACINE, Wis. (AP) -- Families with a member currently serving in the military can get free portraits in Racine, and have one of the photos sent to their loved one in the service.
Creative Captures Photography is offering military families a free portrait session and two free 5-inch by 7-inch photos -- one for the family and one for the service member.
Creative Captures owner Timmie Hoecherl says she has family deployed overseas and wanted to help out others in a similar situation.
The local effort is part of a national project, the PMDA Soldiers' Angels Portraits of Love Project. Creative Captures offers the photos through Dec. 4.
Creative Captures is one of two photography studios in Wisconsin that are part of the project. The other is 5th Street Photography in Prairie du Sac.
