People living in the Sunshine Estates Mobile Home Community have an uninvited guest visiting by way of their water faucets.
It’s coliform bacteria, and property managers have put out a boil water advisory for their tenants.
Though those landlords say it isn't coming from the ground, they suspect someone living there may have accidentally introduced it into their pipes, perhaps through home repair.
Meanwhile, they're working with the DNR to clean out the water.
"If you bring it to a boil for five minutes," said Water Supply Specialist David Carriveau, "that will typically kill any bacteria that are present."
While neighbors would have preferred a tanker of clean water in the meantime, their landlords say they'll put forth their effort to solve the problem as quickly as possible instead.
