Nine million Americans were affected when the Echo Star Company pulled half a dozen channels off their DISH Satellite Network earlier this week. Now, they say they're resolving the issue.
DISH Network pulled the plug on CBS stations in 16 markets as well as Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, MTV and VH1 over a financial dispute with Viacom, the owner of the channels. They say they've reached a long term agreement now with Viacom.
The DISH Network says it will include a pay per view coupon in their customers' April billing statement and also a credit toward the temporary loss of the channels.
