The Marathon County Sheriff's Department released names of three people hurt in an explosion at a Marathon County home. The search for the reason behind it still continues.
The explosion and fire happened Tuesday, around 4 a.m. It sent 35-year-old Kyle Speener to Wausau Hospital where he was treated and released. Two other residents of the home, Tracie Speener, 33, and Justin Speener, 14, were sent to UW Hospital Burn unit in Madison.
Witnesses who say they heard the explosion are not sure if it happened right away or after the fire started. Whatever the case, the house is destroyed.
Local investigators called in the State Fire Marshall to help search for the cause and origin. News Channel 7 will have more information as it comes in.
