Voting information

The Wisconsin Primary started early Tuesday morning, and most polling places will remain open until 8 p.m.

Here is where you can find out where to vote in your area:

Marathon County: County Clerk (715) 261-1500
Wausau: Municipal Clerk (715) 261-6620

Portage County: County Clerk (715) 346-1364

Wood County: County Clerk (715) 421-8460

Vilas County: County Clerk (715) 479-3600

Taylor County: County Clerk (715) 748-4321

Lincoln County: County Clerk (715) 536-0312

The phone numbers listed will provide voters with information on polling locations, what district voters live in, and what time they will remain open.

To vote, you must be at least 18 years old, a U.S. citizen, and have lived in your district for at least 10 days. You can still register at the polls. Just bring a Wisconsin driver's license, your social security number, or your Wisconsin identification number, along with proof of residence. Proof of residence can include a utility bill that includes your name and address.
