Forest street in Wausau remains a sticky mess tonight.
That's after a truck filled with molasses tipped over near the mall..
The big rig, which was loaded with nearly 50-thousand pounds of liquid molasses tipped, spilling it's contents just before rush hour this evening.
The sticky situation shut down traffic while crews attempted to contain it.
Wausau's deputy fire chief says the spill will require special cleanup, because the gooey liquid may have an environmental impact because thousands of pounds dripped down storm drains which flow into the Wisconsin river.
Towing crews had the big rig back on its wheels just before 6 p.m.
The driver was not injured.
