When workers were fired it meant "Fired". Bodies were just 'thrown' away. There are demons around every corner and maybe a few over your head. It is a test for all your senses.

Info: This is a 3/4 mile walk through dimly lit woods where your worst fear just might be around the next tree. You never know what you might encounter creepy crawly things, clowns, the devil and much more to scary to mention. Just remember don't wear your new shoes or nice clothes. It's already difficult to run away when you're scared but if you must run, you'll only die tired.

Info: Visit the park for an evening of spooky stories. Guides will direct listeners along a lit path to hear ghost stories, haunting tales and urban legends. Kids of all ages are invited to join this spooky, but not too scary, event. The trail will be lit by luminaries.

Info: Enjoy this great event. Be part of a safe and fun Halloween activity. Trick-or-Treat the businesses of Downtown Portage from 3pm-4pm. Then come to Rusch Elementary from 4pm-7pm for a Costume Party Dance complete with a DJ. Take a Haunted Wagon Ride through the Residential Historical District for a small fee. Narrators will dare to speak of Portage's ghostly legends while you are riding. Some of the ghosts from the tales may even make an appearance!
