The man convicted of causing a Marathon County traffic accident that killed one person will spend six months behind bars.
Charles Sullivan of Scott City, Missouri was driving a semi that rear-ended a minivan on Highway 39 in Rib Mountain in August 2002.
He pleaded no contest.
Thursday, Sullivan was sentenced to six months in jail, followed by four and a half years probation.
During that time, Sullivan will not be allowed to operate a commercial vehicle. His drivers license was also revoked for a year.
