High school students in Stratford aren't likely to have a prom this coming spring, after district officials say some students are connected to acts of vandalism.
Stratford Superintendent Scott Winch says, the decision to cancel the prom was made because the acts were serious enough to involve police.
The village's police chief says in one case, a deer carcass and piles of horse manure were placed in a residents car.
High School Principal, Paul Rozak says, part of making a mistake is admitting when you're wrong, and he thinks the teens responsible should come forward.
Police say at this point, they have several promising leads on the incidents.
