Wisconsin's first online public high school is looking for students. The full-time virtual school is a public charter school run through the Waukesha School District. Classes are taught by certified Wisconsin teachers.
The program, along with lap-top computer, software, internet access, and textbooks, is available at no cost to high school students throughout Wisconsin. Through the state's open enrollment program, parents have until February 20 to reserve a spot for their child. A number of informational sessions will be held in Northcentral Wisconsin during the next several days.
