"John Doe" Pulled from River

Wausau police are still trying to identify a man who was found floating face down in the Wisconsin River on Sunday.

Two boaters spotted the man about 150 feet from shore at Oak Island Park in Wausau.

As of Monday evening, the man was in critical condition at Wausau Hospital. He had no identification on him when he was found and so far police have not heard from any family members.

The victim is described as: a white male, 45- to 55-years-old, 150-170 pounds, hazel eyes, and balding with brownish hair.

He was wearing black cotton shorts with tennis shoes.
