Hmong Exhibit

One of the most extensive exhibits of Hmong artifacts in the country is right here in central Wisconsin at the Marathon County Historical Society.

“Changing worlds, changing lives: from Laos to Wisconsin” features three truckloads of Hmong artifacts.

The curators say they hope to bridge the generational gap between Hmongs living in Wisconsin, while educating the public on a foreign culture.

"It's really helpful for us in our work to know the culture, but more importantly, we really appreciate what the southeast Asians in our community can give to us," said Marty Harris, Provided Artifacts for Exhibit.

The exhibit will run through the end of March and will be open during the Historical Society's normal hours.
