All the snow we have on the ground will cause quite a mess when it finally melts and it's a problem the village of Weston is addressing.
To deal with all the water run-off from snow melting and heavy rains, Weston is forming a storm water utility.
Village administrator Dean Zuleger says many of Weston's roads are too old to meet current environmental standards.
The utility will find a way to channel the water to a safe area.
"Our storm water utility is going to find a fair and equitable way to move the storm water off of property and into our downfalls into our storm sewers," said Zuleger.
Zuleger says the improvements will cost Weston homeowners about $47 per year.
