The Marathon County Highway Commissioner says it's not a debate, forum, or even a sign of things to come in the near future.
He's talking about tomorrow's public information meeting on the 28th Avenue construction project.
The goals of the project are to deal with the steep grade and increasing traffic on 28th.
Despite recent reports, Glenn Speich says it has nothing to do with a city project that's eight blocks away.
"Our planning process for 28th Avenue is somehow caught up in the overshadow of the city wanting to get 20th Avenue put in."
Speich also adds that construction on 28th won't start until continued traffic growth merits it.
If you're interested in attending the meeting, it starts at 5 p.m. on Thursday at the Highland Community Church.
