In light of the recent kidnappings and shootings, police in Merrill are holding a special town hall meeting to develop crime prevention plans.
Police say it's important to have a plan of action ready in case you are in a crisis situation. When you're in an emergency you can't think clearly and you may not make the smartest choice.
The meeting is at Merrill High School and it starts at 7:00 p.m. Thursday night. It should last about two hours and the chief encourages you to bring your entire family.
