The 55th Annual Wisconsin Square Dancing Convention is coming to Rothschild the weekend of August 8-10.
The convention has a rotating schedule, every 4 years it returns to this area in North Central Wisconsin. All levels of dancing are welcome and ages of participants range from 8 to 80 years old. Most square-dancing is a basic mainstream level, but if it is pursued over time there are more advance levels.
A lot of physical and mental exercise results from being an avid square dancer. Dancers perform to all genres of music "from Beethoven to rap music" as Kimberlee Streby shares. Michael and Kimberlee Streby also shared and demonstrated some basic skills and moves for our viewers.
