Divine Intervention?

It's one thing for the Packers to win their final game of the season. It's another for them to blow out the Broncos in that game, but to do it while Minnesota is losing to a 3-12 Cardinal team is nothing short of spectacular.

However, a local priest says he wouldn't call it divine intervention, just a bad break for the Vikes.

"I'm sure it seems to them like that," said Father Steve Gross of the Resurrection Parrish, "but they just got beat, they just got beat."

How they got beat was incredible. It was a 24-yard touchdown pass from Josh McCown to Nate Poole with the game clock at triple-zeros. The play completed the only scenario left that would send the Packers to the post-season.

Still, Father Gross stands by his decision.

"I don't think God watches the games."

The Packers will take on Seattle at Lambeau Field this Sunday at noon.
