Steve Wilmot was in court Wednesday for his preliminary hearing. The judge ruled there was enough evidence to support the charges and hold him over for trial.
Steve's wife Kathy Wilmot testified that on June 30 the defendant kicked her out of their trailer. When she went back to pick up her stuff, she says Wilmot shot at her car as she was leaving.
Oneida County Sheriffs found evidence that Wilmot fired three shots from his trailer, two of them at his wife's car.
Wilmot will be back in court for his arraignment July 29.
