Racing Preview: Wayne "Lodi" Lodholz Memorial Race

Saturday night at State Park Speedway in Wausau, it's the inaugural Wayne "Lodi" Lodholz Memorial Race.

Lodholz was a long-time racer in Northcentral Wisconsin up until his sudden passing a few years back.

His daughter, Jamie Bootz, and company have been working since May to get ready for the big night. They even restored her father's #66 Budweiser Chevrolet, which will be on display.

The feature will be 66 laps, in honor of her father's number.

Gates open at 3:00 on Saturday, qualifying at 6:00, racing starts at 7:30. $10 adults, $5 for 6-12 years old, 5-under is free.
