Several Pacelli High School freshmen stood outside in the cold temperatures to ring bells for the Salvation Army.
The even added a little Christmas cheer with the tunes of jingle bells. Other students hand-picked and wrapped more than 186 gifts and prepared meals for area Christmas dinners.
"It feels really good cause it gives us a chance to give people gifts who normally wouldn't get something," says student Gretchen Treml.
The students delivered the food and gifts to local shut-ins and the Salvation Army.
