Brandimore says he's not sure why the meetings have not been a success.
One reason he offers is the department's inability to get the word out or it could be that the community is just burnt out.
"We've been so involved with meetings for the past year," said Brandimore, "with the arson and our first set section meetings. There might be some folks that have had enough meetings for awhile and want a break."
There is another meeting coming up where city officials will answer questions and concerns citizens have. That meeting will take place on January 20 at the Thomas Jefferson Elementary School in Wausau.
