Voua Xiong and her husband Steve Schnitzler have been married for more than a year. They're expecting their first child February third. They say it's an exciting time, but last month, the unthinkable happened.
A fire started from a furnace in their home, destroying everything. Although they were able to salvage a few photos, they did not have renters insurance.
"We're lucky, it's just something (their house) that can be replaced, and not a person in our life," Voua says thankfully.
The couple says family and friends have been very supportive, as well as members from the community.
