Fourth graders from Riverside Elementary School opted out of their usual class gift exchange this year. Instead, they decided to give gifts to a nursing home in Ringle.
The students hand-made heart shaped pillows. After singing several Christmas carols, they handed the gifts of comfort out to residents of Kennedy Park Nursing Home.
"I felt good about myself ‘cause I was doing something for everyone instead of myself for Christmas," says fourth grader Sara Wagener.
