Police officials in Antigo say they're continuing to work with other law enforcement agencies, in their attempt to locate a missing teen.

The mother of 15-year-old Kayla May Berg, tells us her daughter was last seen being dropped off at a friends hous in Wausau, near the Colonial Manor Nursing Home.

The mother of Kayla Berg says her family continues to become more worried as every hour passes.

And now, Hope Sprenger says it really seems as if her daughter has simply vanished.

Kayla's father saw his daughter leave his Antigo home back on August 11th, but because of confusion with who their daughter was with, Kayla wasn't reported missing to police for a few days later.

And because of the length of time the teen has been missing, the family says police are ratcheting up their efford to locate the girl.

Kayla Berg's mother Hope Sprenger says, "Theyre checking every lead they get whether its hearsay or somebody said they seen her, I heard that they're running everything they're really working non-stop."

The Antigo Police Chief tells us they are currently working with the Marathon County Sheriff's Department, and speaking to both family and friends in their attempt to locate Kayla.

The girl's mother describes her daughter as about 5'2, nearly 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

If you have any information about Kayla, or if you've seen her, call your local police.
