The sound of music is filling the air in Stevens Point this week. It's time for the 32nd Annual Suzuki Institute.
More than 1,000 kids from all over the world are at the University this week to fine tune their skills on the violin, flute piano and cello. Learning to play music by the Suzuki method means students learn first by imitation and playing by ear, not by reading music.
The young musicians will attend lessons, perform in concerts and listen to lectures throughout the week.
But it's not all hard work. Parents and family members go to the camp to cheer on the kids and keep them company.
