You've trimmed your tree, now what? Giving your home a Christmas feeling is simple but you may need some inspiration. Holiday decorating isn't just about poinsettias!
"People want to decorate in a fun, whimsical way," says Lisa Macco of Evolutions in Design. "Anything silvery, the snow-frosted look is also really popular since it can stay up past Christmas." The front windows of the Wausau store are brimming with frosted ice decorations. Macco says their iced wreaths sold out in the first weekend they had them.
This season gets pretty crazy for the store and they're constantly creating centerpieces for homes and businesses with holiday flair. "This time of year we add a lot of fresh pine to our arrangements and berries, fresh holly," Macco says. Best of all, if watered regularly, the Christmas greens centerpieces can last up to two weeks.
So whether it's fresh holiday centerpieces or new Christmas ornaments, adding a bit of the season into your home will really put you into the spirit of the season.
