It's a startling discovery followed by questions left without answers.
Two bodies were found Monday morning in a car inside a garage in Schofield. The 30- year-old man and woman have since been transported to Madison for autopsies.
On Monday morning, the woman's mother didn't show up at work, so her employer called her at home. They then tried calling her mother, who went to her daughter’s home and discovered the bodies.
Officers were called to the scene at the corner of Grand Avenue and Charles Street at around 7:30 a.m. Charles Street was blocked off as they looked over the scene.
Police expect autopsy results sometime on Tuesday. They're not releasing the name just yet, pending notification of the couple's families.
