The house at 2505 East Neupert Avenue caught on fire around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon. The home's residents were not home.
Weston firefighters were assisted by Schofield and Ringle Fire Departments. The home is shared by two renters and the fire started in the first floor unit.
Captain Steve Meilahn of the Weston Fire Department says the fire is not suspicious but a cause has not been determined. He says it definitely originated in the first floor, living room area.
