Just when you think you've heard it all, we have another reason why tanning beds are bad for you.
A study conducted by the International Agency for Research on Cancer proved it's as toxic as arsenic.
The published study says if you use a UV tanning bed before the age of 30, your risk of getting melanoma, or skin cancer, increases 75%.
Dermatologist Katrina Smith says she's not surprised.
"I don't think there's any surprise they recently found tanning beds are carcinogenic the risk from probably, to definitely carcinogenic," says Dermatologist Doctor Katrina Smith.
She says a better way to get the tan you want are from lotions, or spray tans containing DHA.
