Fire Damages Apartment in Marshfield
The Marshfield Fire Department is investigating a blaze that damaged an apartment on Harrison Street Thursday afternoon.

The Marshfield Fire Department is investigating a blaze that damaged an apartment Thursday afternoon.
Crews responded to the Woodland Village Apartments on Harrison Street just after 2 p.m.
The Fire Department says when they arrived, they found heavy smoke in apartment 307. The residents were evacuated. A tenant in the building was able to save a kitten from the apartment before crews got to the scene.
Crews were able to get the fire under control in several minutes.
The Fire Department says there was mild damage in the apartment, and smoke damage on the third floor.
One person who had difficulty breathing was taken to the hospital. There were no other injuries.
