TOWN OF DALE, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities say a 3-year-old boy has suffered severe lacerations to his face and arm after being run over by a lawnmower in east-central Wisconsin.
The Outagamie County sheriff's office says they received a call Saturday at about 9 p.m. from the Town of Dale, which is located about 14 miles west of Appleton.
Authorities say a member of the boy's family had been operating the riding lawnmower, which was pulling a garden trailer. The boy had been riding in the trailer portion, but fell off and was run over.
The boy was taken to Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah with live-threatening injuries.
The sheriff's office hasn't released the name of the boy, and no further details were immediately available.
