The Clark County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an ATV crash that took the life of a man Saturday night.

The accident happened on a Clark County ATV trail about a mile south of State Highway 95 in the township of Dewhurst at 5:15 p.m.

Initial reports indicate an ATV with a driver and passenger lost control and rolled on the trail.

Authorities say the driver was killed instantly. The passenger was injured and taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The names of those involved in the crash aren’t being released at this time.
