OREGON, Wis. (AP) -- One person was killed Friday morning when a tree fell on top of his car in Dane County.
Coroner John Stanley says the victim was 46-year-old Roch D. Kendrick of New Glarus. He was the only occupant of the car.
Stanley says Kendrick suffered "severe crushing injuries" to his head and chest and died instantly.
The accident happened on North Main Street, which was closed as emergency personnel responded.
