The Wausau fire department along with other local departments have spent the last several months putting out a total of 20 arson garage fires. They've spent endless nights arriving to the scene and many sleepless nights on edge.
"A lot of people are constantly asking you questions why isn't this person in custody or why has it taken so long, you just get bugged by all the questions," says Fire Lt. Rick Schultz.
Not only have their daily routines been interrupted by the arsonist, but so have their personal lives. Hopefully now, things get back to normal and Chief Buchberger says they will continue to do what they normally do, keep the community safe.
