A 51-year-old Plainfield man will spend five years in prison and five years on extended supervision following conviction for his 10th drunk driving conviction.
In August, Mark Schulke reached a plea deal with prosecutors and pleaded guilty to 10th offense OWI. As result four other charges, including possession of THC were dismissed. Online court records list the offense date as April 19.
Upon his release from prison, Schulke's license will be suspended for three years. When he does obtain a driver's license, he will have to have an ignition interlock device installed for three years.
Schulke will receive credit for 530 days he has already spent in jail.
