MILWAUKEE (AP) -- A company that ferries riders across Lake Michigan is cutting some prices by 40 percent for the next two months.
Lake Express makes two daily roundtrips between Milwaukee and Muskegon, Mich. It usually charges $91 each way.
But for roundtrip patrons who take the 6 a.m. cruise from Milwaukee or the 11 p.m. cruise from Muskegon, Mich., one of the two legs will cost only $19.
The deal runs through all of July and August.
The promotion can be combined with another Lake Express deal in which kids under 18 ride for free when accompanied by a parent or guardian. That deal also runs until Aug. 31
Lake Express can accommodate 250 passengers and 46 vehicles. Each trip takes about 2 1/2 hours.
