The Taylor County Sheriff's Department says a one-vehicle rollover crash left a woman dead Thursday afternoon.
About 2:45 p.m., dispatch received a report of an accident on Clark Drive, north of County Line Road in the Town of Roosevelt. A woman was said to be in the vehicle, but not moving.
An early investigation shows the vehicle was heading north on Clark Drive when it crossed both lanes of traffic and rolled over in the ditch.
The woman was the only person in the vehicle. She was wearing a seat belt. Neither alcohol nor speed are believed to be factors in the crash.
The name of the victim is not being released at this time. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
